The Harvey

“This was my husband and I’s second time time here. This hotel room felt like a luxurious coastal retreat. The spacious layout, soft blue walls, elegant fireplace, and beautiful four-poster bed created a relaxing and upscale atmosphere. I especially loved the thoughtful design details, from the statement chandelier to the blue-and-white décor accents that gave the room a sophisticated seaside charm. The room was bright, comfortable, and impeccably maintained, with plenty of space to unwind. It felt more like a private luxury residence than a typical hotel room. I would happily stay here again. Loved that they had parking and was a few minutes away from a lot of bars and restaurants downtown New Bern. You pretty much can’t hear anything from the other rooms and it’s definitely a very peaceful place to stay. The noise machines in the room add a very nice touch as well. Do yourself a favor and get a room with a balcony. You won’t regret it.”

“Absolutely lovely! Outstanding rehabilitation and a NC Main Street award winning project. Our staff enjoyed a comfortable few days at The Harvey. Warning: you do have to walk up some steps to get inside and if your rooms are on the 2nd or 3rd floors be prepared as there are only steps to these floors. But worth the walk up! Conveniently located within walking distance of all things great about downtown New Bern!”

“We had a wonderful anniversary weekend getaway at The Harvey. The building is a beautiful mix of history and modern luxury, and everything we needed for a great stay was provided. The location is just steps away from the downtown shops and dining in one direction, and the waterfront in the other direction. We also loved the keyless access that worked flawlessly and smoothly. We would definitely stay at The Harvey again for any future trips to New Bern!”

“I stayed at The Harvey from March 10-12. The rooms were immaculate and the staff tidied up the room and provided fresh towels daily (something I don't see in other hotels these days.) It is conveniently located next to the convention center and New Bern's beautiful downtown. I strongly recommend this facility to everyone. Also, I got to meet the owner who was as nice as he could be. Great place to stay in such a cool downtown.”

“The Harvey is an amazing place to spend the night in downtown New Bern. Not only is it beautifully decorated and inclusive of everything you might need, it is walkable to restaurants, bars and shops in the historic downtown. Communication was spot on and access was quite simple. We lived our stay there and will definitely choose The Harvey for future visits.”
